We've had the Delage and Talbot-Lago, so here's the Delahaye to complete the "Holy Trinity".

The Delayed is a stunning car, I've seen it in the metal and the body has some really nice touches.

If anyone is interested I'll be bodying a Delahaye 135s over the next few months. You can follow with regular updates on my facebook page or my website.

The car is due to arrive in the next few days, here is a picture of it in the owners suitably period garage.

Great. Are you going for a superflashy Figoni et Falaschi style Delahaye bodywork, or something more.... restrained???

Perhaps you could post the occasional pic of progress here or start another thread...

"Making a body for a Delahaye"

how long does making a body from scratch take ?

I'd be happy to share photos of the progress, I'll start a thread in a couple of weeks.
The car is a 135s, similar to the one at the top of the page and this one

This car is in the Haynes museum

The job should take 4-5 months-perhaps Jude Law could do it quicker?

Hi Dan, I already follow your FB page since you posted about your work on the Lagonda Rapier. Nice job incidentally. I will look forward to seeing this one. Rich...

Hi Richard, thank you. The first Rapier is at the painters, it was like parting with a child!
