Mine got along well too. Having a pit stop on the M62 on the way up to Harrogate a few years ago. Wife refused to drive the TR, but always preferred the Stag as she described it as like driving a modern car with it's PAS, auto transmission, leccy windows and assisted brakes.

Jesus, it doesn't me! I'd have a TR, a 4 or 5 for choice, maybe a 6, and I rewired a TR3a for a GF's dad back in 1990ish, but a Snag would be a bridge too far.

Just looking at that pic makes my back ache.
Takes me back 30+ years to when mine looked like that (but the other head was off as well) and I went to the garage who were doing the repairs and the car was out in the yard in the rain - I looked in the engine bay and the cylinders were full of water.
