Thoughts about a Capri

A pal of mine has the opportunity to buy this Mk1 Capri - it's purported to be the car they used at the Athens Motorshow to launch the car. One owner since then. It would certainly need some light restoration work doing, but do any Capri experts out there know anything they can share about what's good and bad?

Will be likely be a Cologne V4 2.0L if early GT (looks like 2000GT badge on front wings) given LHD car....??

At 1k € it doesn't really matter whether it is good or not, it is still worth more than that.

It is LHD and it lives in Greece. Rarity value is probably high, the history (if it can be verified) adds interest. It runs, I'm told.

If it's a European market car ,V4 engine could be a 1.3 ,1.5 or 1.7 ,the 2.0 V4 was UK only as the European market

had a Cologne 2.0 V6.

Assuming this isn't a moneypit of tinworm ,in the UK you could add a 0 to the 1K price.
