I went to collect my daughter for the weekend in my Lancia Beta today, but it broke down a mile from home on the way back. Hey ho, such is life. My daughter is well used to waiting for AA vans!

First run to work in the Daimler since its Russ Carpenter engine rebuild.. went really well! Nice to see and get a wave off a TR6 driver in the traffic this morning as well!

Took my ‘71 MGB GT 20 miles to work today. First it wouldn’t start until I poke around under the bonnet, wasn’t quite sure how I fixed it but I was glad I allowed extra time. Then on the way home it wouldn’t start again, managed to find the problem (broken alternator plug) so sorted it and made it home.

Every journey is an adventure... but not always for the right reasons!
