Commuted across the city in mine today. Really heavy traffic but the car behaved impeccably, windows down, sunroof open, through the Harbour Tunnel in childish mannerbiggrin. Came back through the Tunnel and probably didn't help the traffic flow with my repeated second gear accelerations and the slowing, but really didn't care today. Put me in the "Knobbish Behaviour" thread, but seldom do that run in this car so the noise was a fun way to brighten a crap trip.

Got back to my usual work parking spot, and usual AMG45 neighbour was there...

A few parking bays away there's a V12 XJ-S (HE) that's a regular.

Daily driving this at the moment. Before anyone hates on the black wheels I like them and I don't care if you don't.

Intended to do so, but woke up late so didn't have time to get it out the shed frown

Took my 911 to the office the other day. First time in a while and it was a great trip. So good in fact that I even went for a drive at lunchtime too. biggrin

Taking my Alfa 2000 GTV to work about twice a week at the moment, it keeps it running and is also helping to control the mileage on my daily, which is already into the excess on the PCP deal.

I've bought a S1 Lotus Elise 111S as my daily driver, it's fab on the B roads I drive on to work. As it's only 18 years old is doesn't qualify on this thread. Every now and then I take my 1956 Lotus Eleven to work, that gets some strange looks and a fair few comments but makes me smile all the way there and back!

Some great contributions on here so far, and loving the pics!

To cover those lucky enough to have to no need to commute any more, how about we extend the scope of the thread to "who used their classic for an 'everyday task' today?" so.. trip to the supermarket, runs to the tip etc..?

Still think we should stick with 20+ years though.. biggrin

given the 20 years makes a classic, does my 1996 Skoda Felicia diesel estate qualify?- 'cause it does 300 miles a week.

I sold it last year but frequently used my Stag during decent weather for commutes.

Here the car and I stopped for a break on the way to Lancaster. Such an effortless cruiser, particularly as it was an automatic.

Just noticed my dreadful parking!

I was all set to nip into work this morning in the Jap spec air conditioned '93 Mini auto, until I found I couldn't get it into reverse...and it kept jumping out of 'D'...

I've been using my 1994 Eunos Roadster as a daily for the last 18 months. BRG with chrome bits.
