I do. And I’ll hopefully be finessing that this winter to bring it up to the same show standard as the XR2I.

Wow, a lot of work and dedication. Thanks for sharing the pics and the journey getting there.

I think that when it's dark and cold, we're under our classics trying to get a bit of purchase on a nut at an obtuse angle in order to get the bloody suspension apart just to refurb it, knowing we have to do the same on the other side while the Mrs is giving us grief for letting the tea she cooked go cold on the table, we often question as to whether it's bloody worth it. The frustration, the skinned knuckles, the dirt in our hair, crap falling into your mouth when you touch anything, the cost, earache, heartache, ball ache and headache.

After all that, getting a result like this, the answer is quite obvious. Of course it is.
Such a great post and so true!

I have no idea how many hours I spent toiling away in the garage doing this. What I do know is that it’s all worth it in the end and the attention it gets at shows is great. I only actually wanted the car in th first place to detail, so hopefully now I’ll be able to do that over the winter.
