I can’t remember now, wasn’t frasier imps blue and white colour scheme ?
Yellow and white .... not sure but team Bevan can confirm will give him a shout ...
I’m not home now but if you look back to my programme I think Ray Calcutt entered in the 72 TT and should show team entry

Indeed the Fraser imps were white lower and blue upper with the scottish saltire on the roof you also had the Roger Nathan run imp/s which were blue/orange! it is good to see these often overlooked(compared to the mini) cars now getting there time in the spotlight. On the imp page on Facebook there is a wide range of ages enjoying them..someone is even building a Greetham imp sport which looks like a real road rocket i just need to get my finger out and find one to enjoy.

Just been sent this fabulous photo from the opposition (Team Bevan) where my car finished second in class to the works NSU at the Jim Clark trophy at Hockenheim 1975.

That is a thing of beauty, aside from the speed of build

What stops the oil surging up the pipe on cornering?

I don’t fully understand your question.
The tank is situated above the engine level

If oil can cover the exit point under corner or acceleration G, it will be forced out and up the pipe by the crankcase pressure.

The oem cap has a baffle system in it, to prevent this.

So its worth checking if oil can flow to that point, some engines suffer badly from this.

I really doubt there'll be that much oil at the top of the engine to be forced up a large diameter pipe enough to go into the catch tank!

Appreciate the comment but it would be some major surge for this to happen, sump is baffled anyway, and this design is a known product and as requested by the engine builder.

Its in the garage waiting to be repaired and painted, working on a way of being able to easily remove if I need to.

My Grandfather ran Ray Calcutts car in the 74 season. The deal with VW fell through so he built a special saloon for Bill to race as well. The car had Bevan Prepared on the rear wing.

Hi Guys, update after the summer break, have just purchased new 3rd and 4th gear as it was revving out even on the short circuit at brands.
Will be putting in today / monday.

FIA papers arrived yesterday after approx 3 months.

If its dry the car will be out at Goodwood on Saturday 28th September for i suspect its final run this year.

Rob Payne and anyone else welcome as always, please come and say hello, if the IMP is not present I will be with my friend and his Austin Lancer.
