My proposed Scimitar purchase is going ahead, I hope. The very lovely seller is fixing up the Webasto. We discussed trying to remedy some minor paint defects before having the car sent across from Carolina to the Caribbean, but have decided against that on grounds of cost.
In other news, my 1983 Land Rover will soon be ready for shipping from the UK. Thus I hope to have two cool vehicles on island by the end of summer. I will then be looking for a local buyer for the 2007 Nissan Skyline 4WD saloon that I have bought as interim wheels.
