As well as the Victor F series bootlid, mentioned in the earlier thread... I see a front 'fender' for a '57 Chevy and the first 12" of a Thunderbird. Bit of cheat these three because I liberated them years ago from being wall art in a (not so) trendy bar which went out of business.

Then there's an exhaust downpipe from a Vanguard PHII. Hoses and belts without an applications list or even the part numbers. Front wing NOS for a series 1 Renault Twingo. Set of alloys from my CR-V Gen 2.

Pride of place is a good condition '100+' steering wheel which was a 21st birthday present from the now MrsC over 40 years ago. Then it lived on my Triumph 2000 and it is destined for my BMW 2002 - Which I will finish before I am too old to drive it!

100+ that brings back memories of a good old supplier. I had a set of 100+ multi-spoke alloys on one of my G15s after I ditched the Cosmics.

Google 100+ now and, well, nothing but speed! Can't even find any 100+ stuff on the 'bay.

As for bits, spares, parts I have.
Well, it would take me pages to list what I have. Let's just say I'm a hoarder!

I do sell a lot of it, and have done for years but my wife says I have yet to make a dent in it! hehe
Recently got over 50 quid for one of those Smiths rear screen (stick on)) heaters. I decided rather than use it I'm gonna use a Gnomist panel (even rarer!) but simpler to affix I like the simpler tasks now- yep, it's new and unused and hoarded by me for bloody years.

Didn't they become part of Rimstock? Googling "100+ Wheels" led me straight there and it rings a bell.

A few little mementoes are kept... smile

Loads of number plates.
New rocker covers from Ford GT
New plastic engine caps from Ford GT (replaced with aluminium ones)
Rear and front wheels and tyres from Murcielago
Sill plates from Vanquish with my name on

Probably some less interesting bits around too. Part of me thinks it's rubbish I should throw out, but most of me likes to hang on to them as tangible reminders of the cars.

Think I have

- a mk1 fiesta indicator stalk from a previously owned Rickman Ranger
- Brake pads for a Mk4 astra, Mk1 BMW MINI, Nissan Primera (Never owned a mini or primera, no idea how I ended up with them)
- Strengthening Plates for fitting bull bars to MK1 Shogun
- I also keep numbers from my previous cars

Still got a cam shaft oil spray bar (the uprated type) and a head gasket set for a 2 litre pinto in my garage… sold the Capri they were going to be fitted to back in 2003 (had a performance head & cam I was going to fit, but chopped the 2 litre laser in against a nice 2.8 injection special. Sold the head for a nice profit as well!).

Also got an indicator stalk assembly for my old Sierra XR4x4 – that was sold as a breaker to a fellow enthusiast back in 2012 as the tin worms had munched away at the bodywork.

I moved to the other side of the planet 15 years ago, which helped clear everything out. Until then I had a multitude of spare electrical parts, trim, light clusters and all sorts of ste that I’d never need.

However I have inexplicably dragged with me Haynes manuals for a Talbot Horizon (first car, oh yes...), a B2 Audi 80 (second car, such progress) and a Mk3 Cortina still in original polythene wrap - clearly never broke down...

And also the front number plate from my Mum’s Mk3 Escort 1.6L that I span off the road, through a fence post, and into a ditch in 1989. PUD 39W, I know exactly where you went!

Front springs for a Volvo 960, brake master cylinder for a YPVS 350 Yamaha, BMW 328i radiator, various points, condensers, leads and caps all brand new!

Plus loads of other stuff I have collected over the years, Yaris headlamps, Vivaro discs and calipers, Morris Minor shoes and wheel cylinders, BMW driveshaft/hub plus a box full of oem radios which might be sought after by restorers.

Must learn how to set up an Ebay account and clear some space.

Good to see that there are other fans of period accessories. My growing 'stash' ready for the 2002 resto includes Yazaki pod mounted tach and a set of Stebel air horns. Then there's the Nenette dust eater polishing brush.

Lots of Haynes manuals too, mostly for cars which I've never owned.

Now here's a curiosity....... I have a gadget which fits under the dash and lets a Phillips 3302 cassette player run through the car radio amplifier. It also lets you record stuff in-car. Only ever seen one other and that was in a magazine feature about the restoration of Paul McCartney's DB6. Allegedly he created 'Hey Jude' on his....... I recorded 'Top of the Pops' on mine and played back through the Pye 'Micron' radio in my Triumph Herald!

You're right - Macca was driving down to Weybridge in '68 to see Cynthia and Julian Lennon (John was with Yoko by this time) and recorded himself humming the tune and making up the lyrics, which he changed slightly before recording began a couple of weeks later.

I discovered a few more bits 'n' bobs in the garage this morning, several sets of Hella parking lamps, some Lucas reversing lamps to go on my Mini and some empty BMC red and blue parts boxes, I've no idea where they came from!

Today I finally threw away the rocker oil feed tube from my 1946 Riley sold 40 years ago. I can`t bring myself to part with one of its inlet valves.

Bits and pieces from mk2 Cortinas owned in the 90s, mainly bits of trim and electrical stuff

Also some odd bits of Imp incl locking engine bay handles and tail light units!

Boxes of Citroen BX trim removed from a scrap 16V and there was an inlet manifold floating about but think that went to the tip when we moved house recently

amongst a rag-bag of stuff, I still have the odd spanner, screwdriver etc. from cars dating back to the sixties, my tool kit from a 380 SL 1982 and the same from my Xj6 1996 and so on.
