What did you drive in the 80s?
Discussion
Ford Sierra Estate (company car)
Ford Orion Ghia (Company Car)
Audi 90 (Company Car)
VW Passat GT Estate (Company Car)
BMW 520 (Company Car)
Triumph TR6 1972 150bhp model
Fiat Uno
Peugeot 205 GRD
Peugeot 306
Oh, I wish I'd never sold the TR6 (for peanuts) in 1992 as I'd owned it since 1973 and it was in superb nick.

I'd forgot that you could get the 2.9 engine in the Granada so early on, and that engine wasn't available in the Sierra until 1989. I do have a soft spot for the Granada. Love your Capri's too. Fab car mates thought it was a bit lame but I loved wafting about in it.
Good to see a few other drivers of Alfas back in the 80's.
My first four cars after getting my license in 1985:
Alfasud 1.5 ti
Alfetta GTV 2.0
Fiat X1/9
BMW 323i 2dr manual E30
All were entertaining driver's cars in their own way. Mundane transport they certainly weren't.
In some ways my Z4 3.0Si Coupe (E86) that I currently own is not unlike all of them in terms of driving entertainment and their simple analogue nature. Hopefully I will be able to continue to avoid infoflippingtainment systems and auto gearboxes, but that's a topic for another thread!

BMX (a gold and black super burner)
Same as that, and I loved it. However, what I really wanted was the Super TuffAnyone remember the BMX show on what I seem to recall was ITV every summer morning? I was always glued to it, and only a severe lack of talent would have had me on there myself!
Passed test in 1986. First car was a '79 Renault 5 that just about lasted until 1990
