Can someone help me work out what car I've just walked past. It was outside a shop that looks to specialise in classic Fiat 500's near Islington.
It was very small, looked like a classic Mini (I daresay smaller) but a sort of saloon shape, with engine in the rear. Writing on the front grille appeared to be in Hebrew. Any guesses? If it is still there later I may try and get a picture.
Could it have been one of the locally-built Premier Automobiles Fiat 1100s (eg Premier Padmini) and that the script was in fact Hindi? It was very small, looked like a classic Mini (I daresay smaller) but a sort of saloon shape, with engine in the rear. Similar I'd say but looked a lot smaller. It was a tiny thing and rear engined. The badge on the grille was script on one line, but could be Hindi yes. Cars moved now sadlyFlabbyMidgets said:

To be fair it does look like one slightly hefty door ding could see it disintegrate before your eyes.Driving through a village this morning and clocked this 4.2 Daimler on a guy’s drive. When I came back past he was out there with the bonnet up. I felt an overwhelming compulsion to stop and ask him if it was okay to get a picture. Turns out it was his first day of ownership! “It’s going to keep this company,” he said … and behind his everyday hack was this …

Perhaps I should hand in my PH credentials, but I once owned a Marina estate. Not a 1300 though, mine had an 1800HC engine which ended it's career in a Sherpa crewbus after the Marina dissolved. I actually rather liked the Marina TBH.
