That'll be the rural French - I don't know enough about 2CV's to know whether that one's actually "old". Cool thing though.

Still on the prewar Austin theme, this little beauty was seen in Whitchurch, Shropshire this lunchtime.

I think that’s a Sunbeam of some description. It looks very much like the one I saw in the village last year.
You may be right, I just assumed it was some sort of Austin 7 Special.

I'm fairly sure it's an Austin Seven Ulster. Replica.

I think you’re right there. Found the picture I was looking for, and it’s not the same car. Whatever it is, it looks great fun.

Yes, 1930 Austin 7 Ulster Replica. Seen here at Prescott last September.

What a find. A Fiat Mirafiori is my all time favourite car. I just wish I’d owned more of them back in the day.

What a spot! A very late model C2 Audi 100. It's the facelift with the white indicators and bigger lights, but for the last year of production it got the flatter wheel design and the "CL" badge for the lower spec model - so this is an 82 car the year before it was replaced by the aerodynamic C3.

However what makes this so rare is that it's a 2 door - very few were made and they were only sold in Germany.

My dad had a 4 door 1980 in silver.back in the day "YAA 256V"

Nice post on my Maserati 5000GT. It is chassis 103.100, the last one built and third Frua; the other two are for sale at Kidston.
I love this car: maybe meet up and do a report? We spoke briefly at Soestdijk. Cheers, Albert

It now seems fashionable on PH to say you don’t like E-Types. nono

I've never really been a fan. Their axles are too short, and the one I procured for a client wasn't very comfortable.

But, I appreciate that others find them beuatiful, although with each successive series I think they got a bit clunkier, and it's easy to muck one up with stuff like white walls...

Plus lots of things around for the "Weaver Wander" charity run that I didn't get photos of.

I did wonder if something was going on as I did see lots of MGs, Triumphs and Jags on the bypass.

I also think there’s a massive sniffiness (if that’s a word) about whitewalls.
They often appeared on UK manufacturer’s display stands at car shows of the day so it’s not like they are the blasphemy that the concours rivet counters think they are.
