COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST! (Vol 3)
Discussion
That's the one! Well done guys, that's pretty impressive. Only 2, wow. Last time I went past down that road there was a Leyton House coloured RS3 in that spot, so maybe a journo or dealer?
Those Citroen SMs are magnificent. I used to frequent a boozer in Roupell Street near Waterloo, and at the time there was always a line of of 2 or 3 classic Citroens in one spot, including an SM. It looked like it was a working car, with bags of cement and tools in the back...
Just looked on GE Streetview, and there's still a clutch there. Looks like a BX, DS, SM and something else.

An avid consumer of car magazines in the sixties and seventies, I knew what this was when I saw one in 1971. I was sure that when I looked it up back then there were two. Reading now I can only find evidence of one. It was a concept by Zagato based on the P6 Rover, codenamed Gladys. Those Citroen SMs are magnificent. The 5.7 litre Lamborghini Diablo is a big phat symbol of 90s Italian muscle.
On the other end of the spectrum is this Daihatsu powered Mini hotrod.
This humble Porsche 912 was originally not painted bright red. The now owner bought it with an urge to bring it back to spec, and used a cloth and a can of thinner in the process.
The Fiat 124 Spider by Abarth is a winner in every category.
Superb looking wheels and rallye add-ons may not be too pretty, but for us enthusiasts they appeal to the max.

Rover TCZ.
There were two IIRC.
I'm off to check.
There was only ever one as far as I know. I know the owner a little as he also has a Bristol Zagato. I saw the TCZ last month at my local P6 specialist being readied for a European rally. It looked like a pristine spaceship in a classically chaotic old school, very scruffy workshop! There were two IIRC.

760GLE at Le Mans looking as fresh as the day it left the factory.
It seems strange that I'm now excited to see one of these, maybe the heat is getting to me
Never been much of a Volvo fan. However there are certain models such as the late 70’s early 80’s 260 Saloon / Estate, the T5 and this 760 that are just ultra cool. It seems strange that I'm now excited to see one of these, maybe the heat is getting to me

I like that, those are sometimes reasonable priced as well, although I guess a lot are restored now or fixed up, which increases prices.still lovely to see when you spot one, could do with a nicer engine, it already has the looks.
would love to see a well done Retromodded one
Think 25 to 50 for a decent A310. The next generation is not so pretty and therefor still up for grabs.
The Alpine Renault really drives superb!
Mega space as well: decent 2+2.
I'd love an A310, especially an early six headlight car with the 4-cyl!
Went straight off for a carb conversion as it wasn’t running very well at all.
