But I agree – they look awful on Stags. They don't suit any Triumph of that era IMO. The TR6 barely gets away with it.
Bolt-on wires almost never look any good.

No photo as I was driving but a WW2 American half-track on a low loader isn't something you normally see at 7:45am in Chesterfield, nor at any other time really.

Spotted a 1986 Porsche 928 illegally parked in Milton Keynes yesterday, sporting a lovely "daily driven" look with brake dust and a layer of grime. It looked tiny in among all the Golfs and 3-Series.

No shows now this time of year from memory, so maybe new owner collecting a new toy.

The cost of the replacement rubber tracks (supply of NOS OEM has all but dried up) means that owners restrict the road miles done on these, as the tracks don't last too long, and the 3-5 mpg also means you don't do 200+ miles road trips in these things....
Great fun though, have fond memories of a few trips in them back in the early 90's when messing around with old WW2 ex-mil vehicles.

A few years old, this photo, but on a cold and wet Friday I came across it while searching for another photo. you just have to smile and admire the thinking and effort behind it. I mean, an Allegro with scissor doors rolleyes
