Is the bottom one a 250 GTE?
These used to be fairly reasonably priced, not sure if still so, but often used for recreations of more valuable models which is a shame
It is, they were and now they're not - not so much anyway, as they're more properly appreciated for what they are. These used to be fairly reasonably priced, not sure if still so, but often used for recreations of more valuable models which is a shame

Love to see the Mk1 Sprites. I spotted one in Glasgow a while ago that had the rear body cut about to add an opening boot lid. No visible fuel cap, so I assume it was in the boot.
The green Midget looks handy but I don't recognise the engine. It's not a MX5, Mirafiori, Zetec or BDA which I think have all been done. Doesn't look like a K series either, which is a well known swap.
I bet someone hereabouts recognises it.
I've wondered sometimes if the scooters with multiple extra lights have to have an upgraded alternator or dynamo. Or even an extra one squeezed in somewhere. Perhaps an extra battery running a total loss circuit? Don't know.

I was a Mod back in the 60s. I'm pretty sure those lights are just for show and not wired to anything. The green Midget looks handy but I don't recognise the engine. Ah, there you have the advantage of me! (rocker...)
I thought (but wasn't sure) that any lights fitted to a vehicle had to be operational. In fact I remember falling foul of Constable Dunstable on the topic when he objected to non-op fog lights on my Dolomite in about '77 or thereabouts.
He also got a bit tedious about the lack of an MoT, but all is forgiven now

From memory it's the cylinder head from a BMW motorcycle, available from a supplier such as this:I bet someone hereabouts recognises it.
