Family friend had one of those Audi Coupe's back in the mid 1970's. Was quite exotic for the day, and would have been the first Audi I ever went in.
Likewise. I’ve been loyal to the brand ever since, although it was the rally Quattros that really sealed the deal.Loved the sound the old 5 cyl turbo's made though......never forget being at Lydden Hill when Dimi debuted his swb Quattro Sport in the British Rallycross Championship, and the sight and sound of that flame spitting beast blasting up Hairy Hill to the haipin

That Audi 5-cyl sound was/is a big part of it. For me, part of the ‘brand’ they’ve under utilised since. The only other cars I can identify with 100% certainty by ear are old Imprezas and Stags.
Surely not - what about Morris Minors, MGBs and minis ? Maybe a subject for another thread !TR4man said:
Needs a nice old, heavy battered POS to "park" between it and the BMW, shunting it back over into it's own parking space (whilst avoiding damaging the tidily parked BMW of course!).Maybe coming back to find the driver's side completely stoved in all down the side, would teach the Mercedes owner/driver not to park like a selfish, self important tw4t!
It's an old, bag of sh!te Mercedes Estate at the end of the day - Not an incredibly rare, hand made, hyper expensive, mega-sought after special car!
The credo should be: "Park like a tw4t - Get treated like a tw4t!"

Why would an expensive or rare car have the right to park badly, whilst that you spit such vitriol at somebody you've never met, who parked a car you've never encountered in a place you weren't at?
Why are the owners of expensive cars given different rules in your fantasy town?

Recent spots are a friend who came round in his XK150 but today, a V8 double - OK, part orchestrated by myself as I took out my Facel 11 for a bit of a blast.
But later, walking the dog, could hear this V8 rumble in the distance. What could it be? Could be agricultural - my Facel can sound pretty agricultural on occasions - maybe a pick-up and then there it was: a biiig blaaack Cadillac, complete with big fins, rego CAD-something, being given welly but its young driver. Great stuff!
