Was indeed but no room for me in the row of Porsches. A few big Yank land yachts were there too - did look for you. Young bloke thought it was ace too

I used to have a 2002 identical to that when I lived in Germany 30 years ago. Same model, same colour. I think I sold it for 3000 Deutsch Marks.

'Tis indeed - see the thread about Cars You Didn't Know. Was going to get a pic of it as its a bit confusing to the eye - looks like a Maxi, but too small to be a Maxi...

Anyhow, there were better things to browse biggrin

Spotted this while I was out with the dog a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not 100% certain but it appears to be a Strosek 928.

It's certainly a 928.

Looks like a Strosek but I thought that they all had NACA ducts in the bonnet and a bonnet bulge, which this one doesn't?

It certainly has the upper spoiler as well as the fat rear wheel arch with "testarossa-like" strakes. Dunno, any experts got a definitive answer?

They don't all have the bonnet bulge and NACA ducts. Some did away with the pop up lights, too. wink

It certainly has challenging looks. It has the sort of 1980’’s excesses that was also found on some of the Koenig Ferraris of the same period.

“Challenging” is being generous. It really is dreadful; a masterclass in how to ruin an iconic eighties car.

biggrin Hopefully it wasn’t the stunning 308qv next to it...

Anyway, spotted this Ford V8 pick up whilst riding this morning, crap photos as I didn’t stop...

And spotted yesterday, MGB V8 in a proper period colour that’s not brown...

I think they're filming something in the car park.

Isn't that down by Old Market or thereabouts?

(It just looks vaguely familiar.)

Yeah, it's the Gardiner Haskins car park.
