And spotted yesterday, MGB V8 in a proper period colour that’s not brown...

ah, it was your picture just wanted to post your picture here because I thought, hey thats funny, someone else just posted a sort like MGB GT in another thread, the classics dwarfed by moderns. :-) lovely picture, amazing that small-ish Fiat is as long or short as the MGB GT haah

I thought you'd never ask...Here's another Jailbar, spotted in the wild in NZ:

The 46-48 cabs were basically the same as a 40, (see the swage lines) but with a different front end:

The front end is similar to a 39-40 ford car.

This was a 48 - 52 model, known in NZ as a Bonus, for some reason:

This is a 38 or 39, often called a Barrel nose. The 39 had hydraulic brakes and (I think) different trim on the grill. It's been chopped as well:

They all came with a sidevalve V8, or an optional 6cyl after the war, I think.

Two spots today from a trip out to Swanage. Sorry there's no photos, but i reckon I saw an Aston Martin DB2 Drophead in Swanage (reg no 199 xxx) and then a "champagne" coloured Porsche 924S on the Castle Lane roundabout in Bournemouth.

Watched the vid for “Shut Up” by Madness, and I know how much an R16 is loved on here...

And I reckon it’s a blue Mk4 Tina and a yellow Mk2 Capri next to the Allegro, and a silver W108 about a minute in...

Bit of an aside, but when Madness were filming that video, they discovered that Rainbow were recording around the corner. So they burst in on them in their plod outfits. Cue lots of toilet flushing and swearing.

Apparently Ritchie Blackmore didn't speak to Suggs for a number of years afterwards. biggrin

Wow, that’s tainted my childhood memories. I kind of expected it of Zippy though.

Spotted last week in a garden half hidden by bushes next to the railway line just south of Claydon level crossing at Fenny Compton, what looks like a very faded red '70s Alfasud.

27000 cc - Merlin?

I liked it until I saw the woodlouse back - I suppose it's a way of getting a compound curve when you haven't got a wheeling machine, but I'm not keen.

I can't confirm if it's a Merlin, although indications are that it is, but the car is fantastically epic. What a brilliant creation.
