Lovely P4 Rover 110 basking in the sun at the local retail park. Looked unrestored to me. 1964 was the last year of production for these giants (of their day). This looked in lovely condition.
That Rover must be one of the last produced; production ended at the end of May '64 and that one's regd in June. It does look very nice.TarquinMX5 said:

I went that way on my run last night - I took this cheeky pic and notice that not only is it an auto but the shift lever looks decidedly non BMW. I wonder if its had a engine / gearbox swap? Saw this as well - brought back memories as I had a very similar one in Top Red - an E reg back in the early 90s. Brilliant cars if a bit twitchy. I manged to loose the back on a wet A329 when my effort of trying to impress a lady was thwarted by my lack of talent (needless to say, she was not impressed).

I saw that - it's still there today so I'll ask if I see the guys that run Palace..Not sure if they were Holden unique or other GM stuff used them.
I almost bought a one owner '74 CSA some 20 years ago, immaculate with a brand new out of the crate engine from BMW - my then girlfriend insisted we bought a Mercedes 107 SLC instead. Still pains me.

quick check on DVLA states engine capacity of 5365 cc which is a match for a 327 Chevy engine......sacrilege as I can still remember the wonderful noise from test drive of the CSA above...can't imagine it helps with the handling either.I almost bought a one owner '74 CSA some 20 years ago, immaculate with a brand new out of the crate engine from BMW - my then girlfriend insisted we bought a Mercedes 107 SLC instead. Remembers me of my Toyota MR2 from long time ago, which I had back in 1996, this one. Here's a puzzle for some Pre-War experts.
Watching some old footage from the end of WW2, this shows German troops after the end of the war retreating from Czechoslovakia into Germany
https://youtu.be/bSIk7yUHzrQ?t=219
There are various vehicles, Kubelwagens, half tracks etc. and at 3:39 this vehicle
I thought it was a Tatra but it has a spilt screen, an Adler perhaps?

I had an AW11 for nearly seven years and a similar spin trying to impress a girl... . Now she is Mrs Mike9009 though, despite my lack of driving talent.....In fairness, I never found mine twitchy and pretty controllable on the limit. I miss mine a lot....
