COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST! (Vol 3)
Discussion
Seems I exaggerated the TR connection.... Mechanicals are TR2, not 4. Swallow Coachworks made a bespoke chassis for it.
The Doretti bit was a tribute to Dorothy Deen who was the US distributor for them. As well as the desire to give it an Italian sounding name.
In the 60's there was a red one buzzing around South Wales with the Reg 123BOB..It was claimed to be the prototype. and turned out to be owned by my wife-to-be's Brother in Law. BOB Holmes R.I.P.

Also a very clean Citroen Xantia a few spaces along but not sure it qualifies for this thread! Call me odd but do think they're a good looking car, the estate even more so.
XJS looks lovely. Xantia certainly rare these days. My family had Citroen dealerships mid-90s to mid-00s and about a 7 year lifetime for those cars was very much normal.
