Only the first page of the new thread and already so many fabulous cars. The Pantera is the standout one for me atm.

Saw this old lady just now..

I'm off the various classifieds...

Very nice - manual V8 with ET headrests in the front and Lucas 'Eight' foglamps, quite the catch when it was new. I think the colour might be Scarab Blue or Corsica Blue.
Funnily enough I've just seen another one, in a rich BRG, and it looked immaculate. No photo as I was driving.
Probably Cameron Green, it really suits the P6, one of my V8 autos was this colour and looked stunning when polished.

Rubbish! smile He's checking the road is clear, and perfectly clipping the apex as he exits the t-junction
That would be quite entertaining but he was only U-turning sadly!

this is why DVLA are wrong with no MOTs as you could tax it and drive it on the roads

Yes, but it still wouldn't be legal to do so unless it's made roadworthy. Removing the annual test doesn't remove the (legal) requirement to have the vehicle in a roadworthy state.

Where is it, though? Doesn't look like a UK registration plate.

Lovely cool
Well spotted. This was in Wilmington, must
get around a bit.

Had no idea the P5 was launched in 1958.

That takes me down memory lane!

Back in 1979 my cousin had a Cameron Green 3500, and I bought a Mexico Brown 3500S complete with the mounting to put the spare wheel on top of the boot lid! But even at 6 years old it did like to rust! eek

I know this is in the wrong thread, but I didn't know where else to put this.

Is it just me, or is this an absolute abomination?

I keep passing a red / orange Y-suffix one parked up not all that far away, on the front of a house. Can't stop to get a photo though. Not far from the chap who has the old Morris ambulance, if you know it.

That's a great way to ruin both a Mk 1 shell and an S2000 in one go. Good work that man.

That's a hell of a collection, thanks. My late 70s fantasy car would be the Martini stripe 911 but there are so many belters in there. I think and hope that I can see Strela's car in one shot.

And it's still registered as a 1973 1300E Escort!

I wouldn't call it an abomination - plenty of Escorts have engine swaps.

But, imho, the interior doesn't suit it, and the wheels really don't suit it. In fact I think the wheels look totally gash..
