looks in great shape as well.
It does look in good order. I had an '82 Cortina back in 1992. It was absolutely rotten, even at only ten years old. It was a 1.6L estate which had been abused for three years (company car) and neglected for seven years by my uncle. It looked OK on the outside, although the Cardinal Red paint was looking a bit "flat", but the scuttle was completely rotten on mine, I had water pouring into my shoes when it rained, and it was so wet inside that holes were drilled in the floor to let the water out again. Still, I bought it for only £100, and got that back when I traded it in a year later. I loved mine, but it was just too far gone to throw money at for a new MOT, and back then it was nowhere near achieving "modern classic" status so wasn't seen as being a worthy candidate for restoration.TCEvo said:

Apparently, yes. Ardun engine so a flathead Ford V8 with ohv conversion. Looks like a Sammio grp body.
It does look like a Sammio. Surprisingly close, actually.nicanary said:

Very crisp and well-proportioned. I think the styling of the Mk V didn’t help the initial sales of the Sierra, which looked blobby and shapeless by comparison.DickyC said:

Did you notice the quarter mile time?Great day, with a horrible crash at the end but the driver walked away so all good.
Spotted several classics (and modern supercars) northbound on the M6 and M6 Toll this morning, amongst them, a large American '50s convertible in red with a white roof, possibly a Cadillac or a Buick of some sort, an absolutely gorgeous 105 series Alfa Giulia coupe in bright yellow, a yellow Lotus Eclat on a trailer, a black MK3 Capri, a red Ferrari 308GTB and a silver Jag XJ-S.
