COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST! (Vol 3)
Discussion
Spotted a cut-down Hillman Imp in Bournemouth last night. It passed me from the left as I waited at a traffic light. No photo of my own, and I was surprised that a quick Google only turned this picture up... https://www.flickr.com/photos/co-ophistory/8442983... ...from 1994.
It looked great, paintwork refreshed, with some red on it. LWD 603E from 1967, DVLA recognise it as a 'Singer' not a Hillman Imp though, so I've possibly mistaken it for a Sunbeam Stiletto?

I think these were the options:
Saloon:
Hillman Imp
Singer Chamois (luxury spec.)
Sunbeam Imp Sport (twin carb & oil cooler)
Coupe:
Hillman Imp Californian
Singer Chamois Coupe (luxury spec.).
Sunbeam Stiletto (twin carb & oil cooler)
I had a run-out December 1975 Hillman Imp Caledonian, but that was just a slightly higher spec Imp saloon, all in Cherry Red with a kind of tartan trim.

The Last Living Merc in New Cross(I appreciate it's probably not, but couldn't resist getting in a USM reference.)
Coincidentally there was also a M-B W123 Saloon just round the corner from where I parked - didn't get a pic as it was on a drive).

wheels probably have incorrect offset.is that an S2 ?
It should have 16" flat faced rims like this whereas the silver car above has, I think 16" rims from a Boxster
