Got passed by four of those last Saturday on our way to afternoon tea at the Theatre Royal. They were driving in convoy all carrying passengers. It looks like a bit of fun, especially if you're getting paid to do the driving...https://smallcarbigcity.com/
Very nice but eye watering expensive for what you get!

There’s a coincidence, we were on our way to have afternoon tea at the Theatre Royal aswell!!

It was my wife's choice, and as you say "eye watering" when the bill arrives. But it was probably one of the nicer tasting Afternoon Tea experiences we've had. And the sweet plate was so rich we needed a doggy bag too. I'd have bought us a packet of M&S sandwiches and a bag of Doritos to share on the Victoria Embankment with a couple of cans of cider, myself. But experiences are her "thing". She doesn't go in for collecting designer clothes, shoes, or handbags so I can't really complain when she treats me to a fancy cup of tea and a nice bit of cake. It's a pretty impressive building too, the Theatre Royal. 'Frozen' the musical not exactly to my taste so I can't imagine seeing a show there. But I enjoyed the Pre Raphaelite art in the adjoining room to where tea was served, and I'd not have got to see that if 'er indoors hadn't booked that little surprise for us...Very nice but eye watering expensive for what you get!

I love this generation of Polo for some reason, and this one looked really cool. It also looked tiny – I could also post this on the classics dwarfed by moderns. (And on the bad parking thread.)

There's a thread in SPL questioning the legality of a Disco with big tyres that stick out beyond the arches...how do hot rods get away with no arches at all?
By not getting caught. I remember seeing a hot rod with mudguards made out of tyres. They were the absolute minimum size required and, from 10 feet, were all but invisible.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
