A trip to Barnard Castle (insert eye test joke here) and a few classics to be seen. A pair of Bond Bugs, an '88 Nissan Bluebird, a Morris 1000 and a few others all escaped the lens, this little fellow did not...
Some details that I think are wrong, including the headlight visor (such fripperies surely would not appear on a workhorse?) but lovely and clean and real kudos points for resisting the temptation of fitting alloys.
Aftermarket bling rarely seen on vans, pickups or estates, and the stainless steel trim below the sliding windows is normally only seen on a very early 850 'Super', a Cooper or a Cooper S Some details that I think are wrong, including the headlight visor (such fripperies surely would not appear on a workhorse?) but lovely and clean and real kudos points for resisting the temptation of fitting alloys.

Rob Walker racing blue? Number 7? Sir Stirling Moss raced in a Ferrari 250 GT SWB in the Goodwood Tourist Trophy in August 1961, and won...I think it's a popular finish for replicas. Ross Brawn owned the original back in 2015, wearing the number plate '7 SPA'... https://www.goodwood.com/grr/event-coverage/goodwo...

It's quite a well known replica, based on a BMW Z3.What you can't see is the X hidden above the other numberplate text.

Recently built up from parts with a very nicely made new body, plenty of info about the car on the Austin 7 "Friends" forum.
Unfortunately no photos, but the highlights today spotted rumbling past my dining room window whilst working from home have been a lovely pale green XK120 coupe, and what I think was a Gordon Keeble. It sounded very purposeful, which is what made me look up.
The good weather does make some nice cars come out.

The best looking racing car ever built and amongst the best looking cars overall in my opinion.
The Muira owes a lot to the GT40, I reckon.Blimey. Did I say that out loud?
