Well, it's in the West End. Honestly! The West End in ...Glasgow, not London
(just like there is a Charing Cross in Glasgow).
It's parked at the rear of the fashionable 19th century Belhaven Terrace area (highly sort after abodes now, designed by Glasgow architect James Thomson).
I read somewhere that at the time the Bond Bug used to be regularly parked there, its owner possibly a tad too embarrassed to park it out the front!
oh, a part of Belhaven Terrace from the front these days.

Brilliant footage. To think that after 70 years the routine analysis of stolen cars like this has reduced to sod-all.Kettmark said:
Where abouts in Thrapston? I'm local but can't work out what road that is.
Does this help?http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/t/thrapston_bri...

Bonus pointless trivia : at one time Northamptonshire had sixty five different railway stations, now it only has six.

That's the way to treat a scabby old Mk.3 Cortina (that was actually probably not more than a couple of years old at the time)
Love the fact that he's running magnessium Minilites on the Cortina service barge as well......handy way of carrying extra spares for the rally car, being standard Ford fitment
