Lovely car pic of Nottingham but not too challenging for seasoned spotters.
Left hand row. The darker colour estate..... Can we agree Standard Companion? But what lies between it and the A60?

Datsuns of this era, as well as being incredibly reliable, were made using incredibly thin metal. Almost beer can like. Speaking from memory the 120 was as dull as ditchwater to drive.
You must have been driving exotica. I found the 120Y coupe a revalation after being used to BL crap such as Marinas, Allegros, Minis & 1100s. The heater and demister worked, the radio was good and it didn't leak water which my Minis did. It may have leaned a bit under pressure but the handling wasn't actually thay bad speaking relativeley.

If I may also be a touch pedantic, is that not a Ruby rather than a Seven?
If I can continue being pedantic, wouldn't that be an Austin 7 Ruby? I may not be correct but I've always thought that's what they were - Grandad had one (before my time) and Austin 7 Ruby is what dad always called it.

It doesn’t give an exact date, but the photo with the wrecked Cortina appears in this collection, captioned ‘Pavement car workshop outside Clarissa House on the Stonebridge Estate, Haggerston, which was demolished in 1985.’
