Those seats look they'd be terribly uncomfortable after a very short time

A happy customer picks up his new 3500GT from the Maserati factory, in the background lurks the work's racing team's transporter....

That's Banchory in Aberdeenshire. Not changed that much
Certainly is.

Anyone recognise the car partially visible in this 1970s shot from nearby. I can’t quite place it.

I’m pretty sure you’re right. I’m getting deja vu because I’m sure I asked about a different photo of one before, and then forgot that they existed...

The car was ready to be launched at the '69 Geneva show as the "NSU K70" whilst VW were in the final negotiations over the NSU take over. Once that was completed, the car was rebadged "VW" and launched under that brand. There were a tiny number of pre-production NSU K70s built but I don't think they were ever sold

A couple of photos from south of the border that have found their way into the Historic Environment Scotland archives via Sir Basil Spence’s archive:

Cheapside, Manchester, c. 1963.

Something American, two cars back, with the fins, or just faux-American styling?

Britannia House, Heathrow Airport, c. 1961.

Here's a few slides I picked up the other day. No markings on the slides other than "Liberal" on one of them, so I can't put a date on them.

Actually, I think its more likely an Impala than a Bel-Air being a 2-dr HT.

Just love those huge parking lots in the States, with their generous parking bays. But amused by the regular oil stains back then biggrin
