Meanwhile, does anyone know what the two door coupe is that Mick Jagger is getting into in 1969...?
Mulliner Park Ward Coupe "Chinese Eye" (I suppose we shouldn't say that anymore).

The booze was certainly flowing during the making of the film, when they shot the scenes in the Assembly Rooms in Kentish Town, Liz Taylor was behind the bar pulling pints...

Spent many an hour in the Assembly Rooms back in the 90's.... whistle

Nice taste in motors but I don't think much of his Winter socks biggrin

Some more location shots with the cars from 'Villain' have come to light...

Probably the first appearance in a film of the new Mk3 Cortina, this scene was shot in September / October 1970...

I doubt it was ever fitted but I've posed the question in the Radford thread on the Mk1 Performance Mini forum, one of the regulars on there knows the car very well wink

Meanwhile, does anyone know what the two door coupe is that Mick Jagger is getting into in 1969...?

Some local stuff in and around Rugby...

Albert Street and Church Street...

Avenue Road, June '77...

Rugby Portland Cement Works in '74...

Church Street...

The old junction at Clifton Road and Church Street with Lawrence Sherriff School in the background, in place of the junction there is now a roundabout...

Hi Street in the '70s which has since been pedestrianised, at the far end is part of Rugby School...

Three views of the Leicester Road taken on 28th December 1979.... the viaduct carried the Rugby to Leicester line until it was closed in '62, the viaduct is still there though and is currently undergoing remedial work...

Browning Road in Hillmorton under construction c.1964, the famous radio masts have all now gone to make way for 6,000 new houses...

Regent Street in Rugby town centre...

The newly opened A45 / M45 at Dunchurch…
