After I'd rested my elbows on the boat tail of his Austin 7 Special I could sense the owner wasn't happy. He didn't say anything though. One didn't in those days. Stiff upper lip and all that.
Trojan - solid tyres!
Having a roll of film developed and printed made a big hole in my pocket money. Imagine how many pictures a thirteen year old enthusiast takes now.

As a follow up...the chap standing next to the Trojan looks like Bill Boddy (Editor of Motorsport & author of many books including the "standard work" on Brooklands) He had a Trojan I recall.
Could well be. Never thought of that. I remember clearly he didn't want to move while I was waiting to take the picture and he had to be included.My 1963 then-new girlfriend had one of those.
I owned but a Brownie 127.
I concluded that our relationship was accordingly one which could prosper.
Fortunately, she agreed.
We remain together now.
