More like early 80's, as that looks like a beige Mk.2 Cavalier behind the bloke crossing the road...?

Is there a Rover SD1 further down the street - partially obscured by the lamp post?

Amazing photo - Jaguar 'Mk 1', RTL bus (Leyland mechanicals), several Austin FX3 taxis and even a Bedford M-Series (with over-cab body) thumbup

But I can't identify the lorry alongside, closer to the kerb. Any suggestions?

Edit: Ooops - sorry about the quote faux pas

Don't know if it's just the grain of the photo, but I'm seeing an 'Austin' script across the grille??

Yes, and it looks like a SeriesII (black bumper and what looks like the deeper rear window), so '82 onwards.

I initially thought it was a MKIII Escort behind chap crossing the road but it could well be a Cavalier (although what can be seen of the rear lights looks a bit small for either). Car in front, with those wheeltrims, could be a Marina? but reflections don't help.

Pretty sure it's a MK2 Cavalier hatch the blue one looks like a MK1 Cav or Ascona.

It doesn't look much like an SD1 to me.

The vinyl roof, wheel trims and other trinketry indicate a Humber Sceptre.
