That E36 M3 will do me!

Some great cars in the list. I like the Range Rovers and the Jensen. Shame about the Lancia that has rotted into two pieces

What on earth has happened to this Lancia?

Maybe not enough left underneath to hold it together if/when it was lifted?
‘Mint, factory fresh’ Lancia....and all the Humber Supersnipes left in the world

I'd take a punt on either of the Stags or the 1300GT.

There is a 20 %, yes 20% Plus VAT Buyers Premium, on these cars.......
Add travel to and from the site, transport costs, etc etc. Just one reason why I never buy from auctions.

and don't forget the unfortunate vendor also pays commission (+VAT). which is why I don't sell at auctions either.

I would guess that a single vendor selling 135 items in one sale would not be paying a vendor's commission.

As for the generally iniquitously high buyer's premium (plus often an internet bidding surcharge),
I just factor it all in and lower my hammer price limit to end up with a total for the lot that I'm happy to pay.

With all the cars being sold without any paperwork how do you check if its not been stolen or scrapped? A lot of them could have ben part of the scrapage scheme.

Against my best judgement I might register to bid on a couple of cars but I don't want to buy just a rusty pile of spares that can't ever be registered or have to have a Q plate.

The cars are from a court siezure, they're not scrappage scheme cars.

Someone didn't pay their rent, scarpered and left the cars - Tara Springs, Pines Lane, Staffordshire, around 2012? Apparently the court ruling was only recent that they could sell them. Only way to check if it's marked as stolen is a HPI check on the reg if it's got one

I just found this same hoard being discussed on a FB group I’m a member of (Hot Rods etc). Some of the nonsense being said on there... makes me despair.

Any more info on their seizure ?
