Not a lot of progress this week sadly other than the brakes, I am waiting for a pal to weld on bonnet pins, got fed up waiting so purchased a new mig welder for that and a couple of other jobs that need doing in situ on the car, despite being fairly good with gas welding I can't for the life of me get the hang of this electric lark so on a bit of a downer currently.
On the plus side I have removed a bit more excess metal from the rear (subaru front) floorpan, I have also made a decision on how to attempt to silence the car and the route the pipework needs to take so have ordered up silencer boxes, pipe, and bends.
A bit premature but have also ordered the longer wheel studs I want.

couple of shots below.

Latest update guys

Slow progress but made the exhaust last week, just need to take for finishing welds this morning and hopefully thats finished, looks like will have to remove intercooler to fit but will find out soon.

Got the bonnet pins welded on by my welder friend who also set up the new mig welder for me, I can now use a bit better and did the tacks in the photo.

Will be fitting bottom clips to the front nose cone today, and then its a case of waiting for the fibreglass man to come up and make the arches for me, should be next Monday.

So little update on progress .....

I am still awaiting paintshop to take the car in as they are running behind schedule with other work.

I have been using the time to fix a small oil leak and getting the motor running a bit better, sounds great now.

I am also in the process of having a small additional header tank built to aid the cooling flow issues we appear to have.

Trying to keep at it but hopefully some better progress to report soon, and some photos of the car in paint.
