I've changed my mind as I can see s/wheel so def rhd. Who'd import a Kellison and convert to rhd, nobody in right mind.
Are you sure? If anything I'd say it looks lhd. There looks to be an instrument binnacle like an E-Type dash on the left but it's too blurry to tell for sure. Lhd should equal Corvette based, but not with those hubs & spinners, surely?
Another thought: does the roof lift off, like a targa / Surrey top?
Guess really, but with car that low you'd have to be reclined somewhat and 'looks' like curvature of s/wheel top (arrowed).
If you had to completely lift top off - once in, how the hell would you get top back on?
Release for roof top above rear w/arch? Must be a'la Nova surely? If not, raise, slide back?
Also look at odd style wheel spinners - is that a gap in each ear - look sort of Borrani Rudge?
So frustrating this. Not in anyway convinced about any Jag connection other than the rear screen which seems vaguely E type Coupe shape.
To my mind this car has to be a product of the late 50’s despite the C reg. The tumble home of the bodywork behind the front wheels is very 50’s and by the mid 60’s most specials had Kamm tails - very trendy. One other point - is that a shutline extending downwards from the A pillar - the car cover seems to stuck in it at sill level ??
My guess would be one of those obscure kit car manufacturers that would advertise in the classifieds section of Motor Sport “ turn your rusty TR2/MGA into this space-age car” etc.

I think it will turn out to be a 60s kit car based on 50s running gear. What looks like entry through the roof might turn out to be a rear hinged panel to aid access and, as has already been pointed out, the door is actually where the tarp has got trapped below the A pillar. Struggling to think of a 50's car where the door was so far back. The TR2 shout might be close.

Pretty sure the tarps hung on a thread, that's what old tarps do rather than embed themselves in a shut line. The FB post was just the pictures that are here , the poster said he had seen them on twitter so I have absolutely no info regarding the car.
I just thought it was something I had never seen and would post here to see if anyone could recognise it , i know you all like a good puzzle.
I was wondering if it could be a rebooted 50s race car. If you look at images of 50s open wheel race cars some of the spinners look similar, although I wouldn't know the reason for doing it as people have pointed out, the access is very limited.

It has a very low bonnet line so I think it is probably rear engine - VW powered - as per the Nova. Large front drum brakes and wire wheels are a puzzle - from a Healey 100/4 possibly?
If it were rear engined it'd have lots of luggage space up front. Edited by Flying Phil on Friday 1st May 14:52
If you could fit in it could you imagine driving the thing, that bonnet goes on for ever
I have a vague memory of a similar car I saw in the late 1970s at a Chelsea cruise, when such things happened.
Noticeable as entry and exit to the car was a kind of rear hinged rood section that folded backwards, allowing you to climb over the door and get in. Seemed impossible to do without looking like a contortionist or being undignified.
The car I saw was VW based, red and badly finished. No idea if it was the car posted or something similar.

This appeared on FB in UK classic and scrapyard finds the original poster said he was working on a property and took the pictures. the original post seems to have vanished I reckon it was a fake Photoshop from the get go ? The final post said he was going back to find out and then silence ?
