Just a reminder whilst we wait for l'image du jour.

Another British car entered for the delayed 1968 Le Mans race alongside the Healey was the Marcos Mantis XP.

Jem Marsh lost patience with the delay, whipped the Repco out of the Mantis, replaced it with a Rover V8 and used it as a road car...

It's gone a bit quiet.

Today is 2 months exactly since Keep it Stiff started this thread, which has been (for me a least) a very welcome distraction to working from home and trying to home school two recalcitrant children. While I won't go so far as to gush and claim that you guys are my new family, I do feel we've all learned a lot from each other's geekiness and there have been some fantastic cars about which I suspect some of us never knew. My work output has suffered but hey, can't have everything, right?

In short, I don't feel I'm ready to give this up yet, so here's something I was totally unaware even existed.

Apologies for what are almost certainly non-standard wheels and front "spoiler" smile

Correct.

Not too surprised we didn't see this sort of thing very often. "I know lads, let's make a 2-door saloon but with a pick up rear end and no boot lid".

We (still) eagerly await your input, NomduJour.

Similar to the Suzuki X90. Surely the only sensible question is “why??”

Has echoes of the Bertone / Lamborghini Athon, but with most of the sharp edges rounded off.

As mentioned above, similar looks to the Athon.
