Jag based also as it appears to have a leaper on its snout. But what Italian concept with weird styling and weird name did Bertone also show at the 1978 NEC show?
Hint, it was painted diarrhea brown.

This is the Movietone video which shows the Lancia. My wife Alison is in the car looking through the porthole. Sadly she's no longer with us.

Panther 6 and Lagonda at the same show.
How about an unusual interior?

Surely a fake. If Porsche ever did experiment with a 6 wheeled racer, it's unlikely to have carried the full Martini livery, neatly matched to the prototype body. Bit of a 'shop I reckon.I used to drool over the 1/12 scale Tamiya 935/77 model kit back in the day. One of my favourite race cars.
At the same test venue a few years earlier Alfa were out with their 6 wheel prototipo.
It's amazing how much testing goes on during the first week in April.
Back in Eff Won, after the Tyrrell 6 wheeler and the March 2-4-0 Ferrari had a go also. This is a genuine photo, slightly wider than the regs would have allowed but an interesting experiment.
"I think I'll race the 4 wheeler at Monaco please Mr Forghieri".

As the Panther 6 has just been mentioned, here it is, another 6 wheeler.
I remember seeing it under the lights at Earls Court and it did look absolutely stunning.
None of this plug into the socket and wait 3 hours nonsense. On the button, twin turbo'd 8.2 Litre Cadillac engine mounted amidships. Proper car.
...it did look better in the flesh.

That green thing on the right in the background is a pre facelift Alfasud Ti. So someone at Panther did have some taste!!Only 1 RHD car was ever made (and I think only one LHD as well) and they kept repainting it to give the impression that more were made than just one.
Check out the MOT history!
Some interesting history here
