1991 - 1986 Peugeot 309

2001 - 1986 Nissan 300C

2011 - 1997 Toyota Camry Sport

2021 - 2014 Lexus RX450h

Strange that the most moden car I had was when I was youngest. I wrote the 309 off later in '91 and have generally run older cars since then.

I distinctly remember the 1991 census as I got a job delivering the forms and getting them back again, covering a village-and-a-half in Suffolk. Obviously a completely paperwork-based exercise back then, there was a fair bit of work to do in going to people's houses and then checking it through. Trying to think of any notable cars - there was a cottage where the guy had a couple of old Mk1/2 Granada hearses/limos. I drove past there only recently, sadly they didn't still seem to be present......

Which could result in folk disappearing for a couple of decades...
Live in Scotland 2021 escape over the border (evading the SNP border patrols) in April 2021 ....therefore not counted.

I’m sure Scotland does things like that deliberately to be different, not for any good reason!.

I noticed on the census we have to fill in whether we work from home, given the Covid situation many will be and we are supposed to fill it in to reflect this. Those in Scotland will be filling it in when they have gone back in the office. So in a hundred years time there’s going to be a big anomaly in the figures when they compare Scotland with the rest of the UK.

Hi Aeropilot, I'm a dyed in the wool petrolhead, I always try to keep a sense of perspective, and, driving 'underpowered' cars keeps you up to scratch in making progress on the road, and, stops you from falling into the point and squirt trap with 'overpowered' motors.
The frogeye I had looked bog standard but had a 1430cc A series, plus 5 speed Toyota box, proper brakes and suspension circa 110/120BHP on a good day. The Miura was the Fair Game BBC car, by the way.

Did my census online today...!
How did you manage to provide details of all the people in your house on March 21st on March 4th?
You have to put visitors that normally live elsewhere. Quite easy for most people at the moment to know, especially us PH hermits.
I did mine too - it’s very easy to know who’s going to be in your house on March 21st if you’re abiding by lockdown - for me - no one!
