Is the "pace" car a Talbot Solara, not the most common on the road and a surprising choice I would have thought for that role moffspeed said:
Just over 50 vehicles in shot.
amongst them I can’t spot a single non-British manufactured car or van, not even a Beetle…
Yep, I can't see any non-UK made car either.amongst them I can’t spot a single non-British manufactured car or van, not even a Beetle…
Even got both LT bus types of the era as well in shot.
I was at Beaulieu Museum last weekend, and spent a nostalgic 10 mins sitting in a RT Regent looking around it at all the familiar features with vivid memories of coming home from school on the last day they were used on the 274 route in West London......only seemed like yesterday, rather than nearly 45 years ago

Year? The Landie appears to have a B-suffix, so 1964-onwards, although it has an unusual headlight arrangement. Anything newer?
The advert on the nearest bus is for the 1966 film One Of Our Spies Is Missing.and photo taken during the slow hour.
other useless info?
the Landie is green and was first registered in December 64.

Hardly, but it depends on your definition of old. Within past 10 years is my guess looking at it, given the work done to the old pits area since even the early years of the Revival. mfmman said:

It looks like this year because the pit wall was increased in height over last winter and that looks like the higher wall.TarquinMX5 said:

Anything newer?Apologies for the railway oriented photo but I was looking at it just now and noticed the Henlys showroom in the background above Park Street Tunnel, half way up Camden bank coming out of Euston, I didn't realise they had an outlet in this part of London...
The photo was taken in September 1965 - I'm guessing Henlys would've been selling Mk2 and S-Type Jags and Rover P5s at the time. For the railway geeks the loco is Sulzer Type 2 D5019

Not just the dealership on that junction. They had a huge service centre/workshop at a different location in Camden, which backed onto the Regents Canal......you could still see the huge faded painted Henley's logo on the brick wall in the 90's when walking down the towpath towards Camden from Primrose Hill, which I did most Saturday afternoon's heading for Dingwalls. I seem to remember another painted on a brickwall Henley's sign on the side of a building as well, just past the Electric Ballroom on the right before you got to the Elephants Head...?The photo was taken in September 1965 - I'm guessing Henlys would've been selling Mk2 and S-Type Jags and Rover P5s at the time.
