I can see three separate rear lights on each side and the over-rider position looks right, so I'd go with SL90.

I'd never heard of the Armstrong 500, so I Googled it.This was the predecessor to the Bathurst 1000, held for the first 3 years at Phillip Island (until the surface was deemed to rough, whereupon it moved to Mount Panorama).
The poster features the 1964 race which was won by Bob Jane & George Reynolds in a Cortina GT, achieving 130 laps. The Vivas did indeed finish 1st-6th in their class - quite an achievement. Notable Viva drivers included "B. Muir" finishing second: this is of course Brian Muir, who went on to considerable success in British and European Touring Cars and even Le Mans.
The Vivas' main competition in Class A was Hillman Imps, Ford Anglias, 850cc Minis, Beetle 1200s and an NSU Prinz.
BSA Ariel 3... moped.
Just seen Henry Cole find one on ‘findfixflog’...
Quote: It was designed for people who were a bit cautious of riding a bike, but It didn’t take off & helped in the demise of BSA.
( Guy / Skid didn’t like it at first... but warmed to it)
After a bit of Spit & polish... 600
( But today, I could see Dominos / Deliveroo etc whizzing around with their boxes on the back).

Car in the photo only has 2 doors to my eyes.
Simca 1301/1501 was only available with 4 door and estate bodies...
Over the years it has gone from “bring a can of petrol and a set of jump leads” to a restoration project. Sad really.
