I don't remember his exact words, but John Egan said that, after a visit from some Jaguar Enthusiasts, he understood how much the passion of those enthusiasts served to keep the company alive. They showed off its heritage, maintained its image, and were very effective public relations. I'd see that as fairly significant even if none of us buy new cars.
