My '36 Austin, was running Appliance chrome wires, they did look lovely, but you wouldn't want to clean them after a winter's driving! So, slots it had to be...

I love that - the sort of car that turns more heads and makes far more smiles than some daft hypercar.

Thanks, I still miss it, but it eventually caused me a huge amount of grief and I was glad to see it leave. When running right it was fantastic fun, but the handling was dire and, on a wet road, it would spin with little provocation - actually spun it twice one Boxing Day heading to the south coast in sleety weather. It certainly turned heads tho', once, when out on the bike, I overheard a chap in our local Tesco talking about it in a most animated fashion, much to the complete lack of interest of his mrs.

Jaguar MkX 4.2 straight six, which I replaced with a 2.8 XJ motor mated to the old four speed manual...

Came here to post this.

Such a great looking design the ME3000 & the Wolfrace wheels really complement the look.
Sorry, but no, always thought at the time that the Wolfraces were an easy, cheap choice for the ME and as others have said have a whiff of kit car. But AC were set on them from the start, although the Diablo that AC developed into the ME had four spoke Revolutions, from the first prototype the ME had Wolfraces.

This didn't stop me getting an ME though..... smile

I saw it on a car for sale, looks good, the car was yellow original, a owner decided to make it Bond White.

That early Esprit is a fantastic shape. Not keen on the later ones with the spoilers and wings ...

That looks ace, Allegro door handles work well too.

I had some small Wolfrace slot mags on my mk1 Mini.
