Can we have a narrative please, Duesey? There's a story and a half here.
Here goes;

set 1

My grandfather, we dont have that bentley anymore. The daimler double six 50 corsica with my grandfather at some local event - the car won pebble beach concours d'elegance a few years back with its new owner, row of a few cars my grandfather had.

set 2

Coys event a good few years back and I got invited to sit in the car, my mum and dad in a few of my dads cars around 1965.

set 3

grandfathers stuff again, delage on a family holiday with friends - again no longer have this delage, speed six bentley - still have this, we will be putting a new body on it.

set 4

a couple of holidays - still got the s3 bentley in retoration at moment,1931 dailmer double six again.

set 5

bentley again and my parents cars on drive.

All a bit vague I am afraid as i can't remember half the cars - too young.

Brilliant, thanks very much for that.

I have loads of pictures of this car as we had it for around 50 years.

Did you see this

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

As far as I am aware the car still belongs to Mr Lee the winner of Pebble Beach.

I was with Rob Myers of RM last month and he did not mention it had been sold.

Thanks for the link Duesey, lovely story. I have been considering building/costing a replica double six for some while, but cannot find one to measure.!If you look on the internet you will see the car listed under Jay lenos` garage, I`m sure it is the same car. All I have so far are pics on the net, which there are very few, hence the request.

Yes thats the car - it's just in the gallery on Leno's site as far as I can see - not in the garage section.

These are pictures taken by my Great Grandad in the early 60s, I have only scanned a small selection of them so far so there are probably a lot more.
3 Window PA!!! I have one of the only PAs in America, I'd kill to get my hands on a LHD 3-Window!

My older brother, an art student at the time, with his treasured Dyane. (He retained a love of cars and now drives a W124 estate).

One of my ambitions around then was to put ten quids' worth of petrol in a car so I could feel like a big shot.

Looks like a Ford Model C or CX (the Deluxe version) to me. Pretty rare beast now!
