Methinks it is Lotus 6. (top pic)

Guess what the bottom pic car is though

I think it is a Ginetta...

Hello Pat,
Unfair advantage! Yes, it's a Ginetta G2 to be exact.

Apologies, I never got back to your regards the JEK 11 pics which I passed on for use in the Owners' Club mag (reason: the ed never used them, then he relinquished his role). irked

As this thread is back into registration plates I'll use them here - sure you won't mind. thumbup

I actually dropped in on the pub (Ye Olde Leathern Bottel) in Lewknor, Oxon (J6 M40) just before Xmas where the Ginetta G21 pics were taken around 1979(?) - it has hardly changed at all. The pub car park used to be full of Ginettas and other marques then and in the 80s.

To other PH's looking at this, the E-type was in Pat's family, and I'd recognised the plate as being on a Ginetta later in its life.
I'm told the plate was sold on again: what is it on now I wonder?

Here's a period photo of mine - and a write-up to go with it!

I believe it is from the June 1982 issue of Autocar, though if anyone knows differently, do tell me as I am on the look-out for a full issue of that magazine to buy for when its on display at shows.

Also, here is a shot that isnt strictly period but looks it - mucking around with photoshop on a picture I took last summer I was trying to create a period-looking snap in the style of LR promotional leaflets:

I was 18 and 19 respectively in those photos. I always used to look younger than my years, but it's all caught up with me now! redface
