How about a 'period' classics pictures thread

Wash your mouth out with soap and water as my old Nan used to say
Recently half inched random period aceness ahoy...
Bertone factory, Stratos and Urraco production, splendid...
Not sure if this is actually the 500th Miura, according to Pete Coltrin's book the 500th was chassis #4659, a RHD car in green with a black interior...
In 1972 Bob Wallace took the LP500 prototype to Monaco...

I have been scanning a few bits of old film I found in a drawer in garage & came across these two photos that are motoring related.
First is my dad driving a van of some type and second I am not sure why we have a photo of the truck.
I am hoping to find some photos of my dads old motorbikes and really hoping to find some photos of him racing in the TT during his younger days.
I have quite a few to go through and the ones I started on today were the worst condition of the lot.

The photos of the Montreal production line reminded me of this.
It's the old man's old friend Jim Russell, after he'd retired from racing and was running his Mercedes/Alfa/Vauxhall dealership in North Norfolk. This is him handing over the 1st Montreal sold in Norfolk. If you look carefully, it has an 'AH' registration.
Not from a personal collection - It can be found on the internet from an article about Jim's life - but interesting nonetheless

Found this while clearing out...from their tour in the 1970's, those daring young men in their racing machines (mainly driving on two wheels being the big draw) who did a two night show in downtown Borough Green (note the death-dealing 240 they use as a backdrop - surely the choice of the hardened rebel);
