London, Summer '87.
I'm pleased to report that it had been washed by the time I spotted it in July '88, round the back of Portman.

And check out the fancy 'phone! cool

These kinds of posts are exactly what makes this easily the best running forum thread on the internet in my opinion, thank you for the pictures

This car now resides in the Rodger Dudding collection in Potters Bar along with 22 other Lagonda's.

I've had a tour around the place and it's pretty impressive.
Great post!

The old boy who lived opposite my middle school had a dark blue F reg'd DB6, it never seemed to go anywhere, it just came out of the garage on dry days so he could polish it on the drive.

Just found these...

Beatle George parking his Merc 600 in London in late '68 /early '69 (possibly Savile Row), nice Jag 420 / Daimler Sovereign and Phantom V behind...

Barcelona GP, 1975...

Rover 2000 or 2200.

The roof aerial gives it away.

My memories of the early 80's is that everyone was obligated by law to drive a mark iv Cortina, yet here we have the Alpine, a 2CV, a GSA and what looks like a Renault 30 (the 20 had square headlights I think, so this is a 30) poking out in front of the Landie. How fancy!

I love your pics Maurice. Love the dirty Lambo, and the sinister body kit on the Lagonda. Is it a Tickford?

What's the story with the badly parked Porsche I wonder? LHD and "UAE 5AD" plate - not a UK reg?
