The 'Farina' behind it is possibly a Riley 4/68.
More likely a Wolsey ... Rileys had cut back tail lights IIRCEdited by RATATTAK on Tuesday 30th January 15:14

Couple of rare items in those pics, especially the Ford Taunus - which was a rare sight in the UK.
I spy a F-Type Victor as well in the 1st pic.
Sights that that were all too common on old bomb sites and waste ground in most towns back in the day..........he says feeling a little old
yes . .and the piles of stuff .... the oily puddles... ...... .there will probably be an evil dog somewhere too...I spy a F-Type Victor as well in the 1st pic.

In the second picture, I like the way the proprietor has taken the tin snips to the back of his Thames van to convert it into the handy pick-up version...
Isn't that a Leyland Atlas?

I thought the Riley 4/68 and Wolseley 15/60 had the earlier shell with the more pronounced rear fins, being replaced by the Riley 4/72 and Wolseley 16/60 respectively with the more restrained styling ?aeropilot said:

Nobody as yet has tried to hazard a guess at the Yank tank between the Herald and BMC Farina. I thought at first Mercury Comet but the wraparound rear screen is wrong. Anyone?
Not a yank tank, its a Vauxhall PA Cresta/Velox.I was looking at it all wrong - I thought it had fins at the back but in fact I was looking at the Herald's front wing! Optical illusion in my book, senility in the books of others.........
