The Merc is an expensive foreign job among that lot for the time.

ADO16, Mk3 Z car etc means it's not going to be before 1963, but there's no late 60's stuff on show, so my guess would be 1964-65?

Knowing that Mk 1 Cortinas came out in 62, I'd guess 1963 without actually looking up any production dates. Rootes products (and minis) seem popular. Are there really only two foreign cars there - Beetle and Mercedes ?

Prefix "B" came out in 1964 I believe and I cant see any 64 cars so 1963 looks close enough

Close; it was Suffix 'B'. I can't see any suffixes, so guessing '62.

I think you mean suffix B wink

Only suffix plate looks to be on the ADO16, which is likely to mean it's 1963 or later as already said.. Doesn't look much like a new car though, the Mk3 Z-car looks newer......but can't see the plate of course.

Definitely, in the 63-65 period....maybe only 63-64.

And the plate off that car in the left hand side, 6 WBJ is now on a Ginetta G4, albeit on SORN with no MOT results.

And 812XPJ is (still) on a white 1962 Mercedes 190 - the most desirable car in the picture. But what does the DVLA mean when it says "not taxed for on road use", rather than SORN ?

I'd think that the Corsair would date that one to 1965 or later ? And is it RHD ? Lots more foreign cars there than your other photo - 3 Mercs, BMW/Isetta, Escort, Alfa (behind the R4) ?, Kadett, Fiat. What's the white car on the right between the two white Mercs - an Opel ?

Just noticed - the url gives the year away !
