The Merc is an expensive foreign job among that lot for the time. Points awarded for identifying as many cars as possible / location (pretty easy) and year
ADO16, Mk3 Z car etc means it's not going to be before 1963, but there's no late 60's stuff on show, so my guess would be 1964-65?

Knowing that Mk 1 Cortinas came out in 62, I'd guess 1963 without actually looking up any production dates. Rootes products (and minis) seem popular. Are there really only two foreign cars there - Beetle and Mercedes ?Points awarded for identifying as many cars as possible / location (pretty easy) and year

Prefix "B" came out in 1964 I believe and I cant see any 64 cars so 1963 looks close enoughjohnxjsc1985 said:

Doesn't look much like a new car though, the Mk3 Z-car looks newer......but can't see the plate of course.
Definitely, in the 63-65 period....maybe only 63-64.

I'd think that the Corsair would date that one to 1965 or later ? And is it RHD ? Lots more foreign cars there than your other photo - 3 Mercs, BMW/Isetta, Escort, Alfa (behind the R4) ?, Kadett, Fiat. What's the white car on the right between the two white Mercs - an Opel ?Just noticed - the url gives the year away !
