The design of skips hasn't changed much has it?
biggrin

I wonder when that design of skip was introduced? There's bound to be a skip expert on here, like that chap who was an expert on lamp-posts.
Those of a certain age will recognise this as the original design for a skip wink

I found this. Apparently our beloved skip is a German innovation.

Maybe they are actors.

I've never seen a Targa Florio on wheels with BMW hubcaps before (only wire wheels or Dunlop alloys).
But they are original on the car, so maybe they were chosen by Errol Flynn.

The poster of that pic doesn't know the background of it either from his comment.

Yet another classics forum impossible conundrum ?

''Darling, I think I've killed our little Cooper...''

'Man in tall hat won't fit in a Mini, George best not impressed...'

Royal Crescent in Bath, 1965, Karmann Ghia on the extreme right...?

A recent find...

Cooper Car Company workshop in Canada Road, Byfleet, looks like an Alfa Giulia SS receiving some attention at the top right of the photo...

Glasgow, 1962...

Major error in that old article, with the reference to the Mini's pushing the black 6/110's off the road, as the black 6/110's and S-Type's of the era were Area Cars, not Traffic Div (white cars)

Seeing those toys takes me back, way back. I had many of these cars shown. Corgis were the first models with windows I seem to remember.
