Yucca Flats, Nevada, 1957...






Three of The Doors and a Charger, judging by the length of Morrison's Barnet I'd say it's '68...

Well its a '68 Charger because of the rear lights, so could be taken anytime from Sept '67 onwards.

Ta, thought you'd know wink. Looking at other photos of the band from late '67 / early '68 they also match in appearance.

Found these just now, Jimbo in the Charger and with his own Shelby Mustang 500GT...











Their third LP cover shoot in '68 with the snapper's station wagon of some description...

Wow........!

' 67 GT500 in Nightmist Blue with the Parchment interior........very rare colour combo, they only made 29 in that combination.

Couple of clips on youtube, I'd forgotten all about this footage which I read about in a biography nigh on thirty years ago... the radio news report of his demise added in the edit is rather spooky...

71 Challenger pace car with Eldon Palmer @ the wheel, goes out of control after Palmer locked up the brakes after reaching 125 mph.

Just sorting through my late fathers old slide collection and found a few of some Kiwi cars from late 50s to mid 70s.

Local fair - around 1959.



Community picnic - 1962 or 63 maybe.



Ship (MV Treneglos) runs aground off Timaru, 1964.



Winter at Lake Tekapo, 1966 or 67.



Kids on fundraising ride, around 1977 or 78.
