That front screen looks a bit tortured, and must have cost a mint if properly tooled?

Not exactly a looker, thje barrel-like side profile reminds me a bit of that Minnowfish Argyle GT thingy
Looks very 1970s era Alfa Romeo to me.
A rather flattering angle.

Long car, tiny doors.

Duh!

Wow - that's definitely in the "cars I Never Knew Existed" category.

Nice cave-girl too

You can see a lot of the Espirit design cues in that.

Imagine how different things might be now had Porsche followed through with that design.

I particularly like the tyre/wheel combo. No 'low profile' nonsense there.

It looks like a 1:18 scale, particularly around the wheel arches

Me with a BSA A10 that my dad had just bought in 1980, it had been unused since 61. He sold it on shortly after, it got restored and is still on the road, saw it in a magazine a couple of years back doing a tour up North somewhere!

Mk1 Escort that my dad was using as a runabout in the late 80s, he'd bought it from Dodds Lane breakers in Dover. He'd gone in looking for parts for something else and left with this! His mate patched up the top plates and it was good to go.. Car obviously long gone now, as has the breakers with houses on the site.

My first car, (hence the username!) bought in early 1995 for £325!! Sold it on a few months later for about the same..

This replaced the Harrier, pictures taken around 1996. Car looked nice but was a real dog! Interior was nice though- lovely chocolate custom interior was unmarked and would be worth a fortune now.. Think I sold it for £650 in early 97.

A few pics of my 309Gti, bought early 97 to replace the Escorts!
In the last pic you can just see an XR3 behind my dads standard 309, id had that to bomb about in for a couple of weeks before I got my 309. Didn't know at the time but found out later on that it was one of the launch cars that are going for good money now, TTW108W it was, destroyed shortly after I sold it!

Bought this XR2 for £150 in 2001! Bit of a comedown after the 309 but still a really good car and other than putting fuel in cost me nothing till I sold it in 2004. Really liked this car!

Apologies if these pictures are a bit modern for the thread but I will go through mum and dads photo albums next time I go round there and should find some older ones to put up!

All nice, £650 back in 97, I remember a couple of years before, a black RS2000 mk2 project was for sale on the roadside for £500, my mates all thought it was rubbish and that I was mad to even think about it!
Didn’t buy it in the end, that and a few other cars since!

What caught my eye was your dads Orion, because my dad had an Orion Ghia with almost the same number plate; C265 BHX.

Picture I found on a house clearance a while back so I don't know when or where it was taken but thought it was worth posting!
